Printed card to go with print out hasn't arrived. Sending an email on Christmas morning, with him sat beside me, doesn't feel that special.

Ideas really appreciated.

What's it a ticket for?

Thank you for replying.

Theatre tickets for ‘Dear England’.

I print out tickets and put them in a box or rolled inside a toilet roll inner or similar, it just makes it easy to wrap!

petedicks · 23/12/2024 12:39

I'd probably do something silly like put a photo of Gareth Southgate with a speech bubble saying you've got tickets or something on a word doc and print that. Maybe buy some English beer and English snacks - pie for football. Wrap it all in a box.

DBriana · 23/12/2024 15:57

Some good ideas if I had a printer, I don't.

I suppose I was wondering about anything tech based?

I have the same problem! I am going to ask Chat GPT to write me a riddle or a rhyme linking to the tickets and write in out in a Christmas card.

Rocknrollstar · 23/12/2024 16:01

Draw picture of a footballer or a football? Draw mock tickets? He will be so amused that it he won’t mind. Great present by the way

IKnowAristotle · 23/12/2024 16:02

Design something on canva and send as an ecard

CaptainCabinetsTrappedInCabinets · 23/12/2024 16:20

We've wrapped my sons Linkin park tickets in an envelope and then 6 individually wrapped boxes stacked like a Russian doll 🤣

HPandthelastwish · 23/12/2024 16:22

I gave my mum a nutcracker and some nuts in place of her tickets to the Nutcracker.

Possibly a generic polo type England shirt.

If you have access to a printer you'll be able to get a printable to down load from Etsy. If not you can make something email able using Canva

JustKeepSwimmingJust · 23/12/2024 16:25

Write it in a card?

Daisy12Maisie · 23/12/2024 16:29

Something England related. Eg a mug with England on that he can unwrap then you explain what it is.

Or can you draw the England flag on some card and wrap that up?

I have a restaurant voucher for someone and the restaurant has the word "duck" in so I have got him some bamboo duck socks to unwrap. When he unwraps then I'll explain what the actual gift is.

I did this for DC’s with money that is to go towards a holiday. I had time to get cards printed by an Etsy seller. Fab now that they are here.

I have a new, large England flag in the garage….wrap a note in it, pin it and fly it…😆

You might not have a printer but you could down load a picture onto your phone, pop to the photo printing machine at the Supermarket and print that. It could be a photo of the play title / England team / photo of a theatre front with the This is England advert on

Thank you so much, I used GPChat for a rhyme, added it with pictures to CANVA and got it printed as photos.

Well done & good work PP’s - all sorted with the photos mounted in a card and the white envelope tied up with a red ribbon in a cross!

Happy Christmas!

Excellent teamwork!

Have a great Christmas @DBriana

chocolatespreadsandwich · 24/12/2024 18:45

Ah that sounds good!

I have wrapped one voucher in a box with some chocolate that very vaguely links to the theme. The other I have done as a series of clues in envelopes
