Will this be safe or not regarding my lunches

Most days I pack a lunch. Whatever is there. It might be a soup and a yogurt or whatever. Some days I don't get a chance to eat my lunch and then I carry it home again. Sometimes I put it back into the fridge and other days I just leave it in my back.

I'm just wondering if storing food like this - would it be bad? Often it's a chicken soup.

I wouldn't do it. No.

If it is something meant to be chilled, it should be kept chilled. If it has been out of the fridge all day and not eaten it should be binned. Certainly if is then kept out overnight as well, it is definitely unsafe.

I use an ice pack in an insulated sandwich box if the outside temp is above 10-15, otherwise nothing. But I do store uneaten in the fridge when I get home (generally hungry teenagers/young adults seem to find it before next day though. )

Chicken soup?
Way to get severe food poisoning!

No I wouldn't unless you mean a canned soup?
