Or week or whatever.

I fancied a thread where we could post the inane questions that wander into our brains, stroll around and then take a seat in the room of inanity. Anyone want to join? No need to answer them unless you feel like it.

Here are some of mine:

How many stitches does it take to knit a jumper?

What was Victorians' mental health like given they were obsessed with status and morality and constantly critiquing everything and everyone? Were there parallels with today's society where we never switch our brains off and are never disconnected from the news, social media and everyone's opinions?

How come Shakira always has the perfect casual-fit for her tshirts?

Will offal ever make a comeback?

Why does it look so ugly (undignified and sloppy?) if I sit with my legs open in a pose usually associated with men?

Are any other inhabited planets basically dying at the moment? If yes, is it becaue one of their species fucked up?

What makes a pair of socks truly perfect?

If I were alive when there was so much of the fundamentals of science still to discover, would I have played any part in their discovery?

At what point is your ancestor so distant from you that you're barely related and they have no more significant an impact on you than their fellow time-dweller 500 miles away?

What natural talent do I have but might never discover?

How soon after humans could speak did someone utter "be quiet" or "motormouth"?

Will they ever stop messing around with iced buns and make good quality ones with sugar again?

Which clan do we belong to? (DH is Scottish but doesn't have a Mc-surname).
What has happened to foil ceiling Christmas garlands?

That one has an answer - however far back each ancestor, however little contribution each has to your genes, if each and every one of them hadn't bred successfully to produce the next of your ancestors you wouldn't be here to ask the question at all.

I just woke up and thought how Seagulls are the Peaky Blinders of the bird world...

I wonder if my dog could respond to "sit down" if I said it in a different language?

Try it! Isn't speech recognition really to do with tone and rhythm or something?

What thing that I enjoy doing have I done for the last time without realising it?
Example roller skating. I used to love it when I was kid, then it stopped. Did I outgrow my skates and not buy new? Why did I stop?

What if this is my last Christmas?

Why was Filch (a squib) sent off to the dungeons alone to search for Sirius Black? What was he going to do if he found him?!
