How long did it last?

I've once again found myself shelling out £16 for our local soft play so I can get a few hours work done and DS5 can run off steam after a morning watching cartoons (to preempt the MN rage, work is aware and fine with me doing this from time to time).

He's adoring it right now, and always has. I'm considering upgrading to an annual pass but am just worried he'll decide halfway through a (non-refundable!) year that it's no fun anymore 😂

There always seem to be less older children around, though there's normally a few. When did your kids start going off soft play?

My youngest started getting bored of it around 8 and we haven't been in a few months now she is 9.

Around age 7/8 in our case. DC1 is now 9 and wouldn’t be seen dead in soft play but had a soft play party for his 7th and that didn’t seem to be unusual.

Not for a good long while. It turned into the trampoline park for us at about 8 or 9yo.

My 9yr old enjoys it still as we still use it to burn energy off the 5yr old.

We don’t go as often as we used to, but enough to make the annual pass cost effective.

Last time I took them it was 10 days before Lock down. They were just turning 7 and 8.

DDs school took Yr6 in the last few weeks of the year, they had a great time!
(The soft play needed children to practice emergency procedures so offered it to them for free)
