And is also nutritionally neutral due to its deformed state? I'll have to replace it anyway so I might as well eat it while I wrap.

Have I covered all bases?

100%. Well done for tidying it up. It’s the responsible thing to do.

I think you missed that it's environmentally responsible to avoid waste. Well done for avoiding wasting the chocolate!!

PiggyPlumPie · 18/12/2024 08:34

As it's broken, all the calories will have fallen out so a win there too!

Jellycatspyjamas · 18/12/2024 08:34

You couldn’t give a broken chocolate Santa - think of the children!

OrsolaRosso · 18/12/2024 08:35

I'm not questioning your motives at all, OP, but am I allowed to ask exactly HOW it got broken 🤔

TickingAlongNicely · 18/12/2024 08:36

Mum tax.

CalicoPusscat · 18/12/2024 08:36

It is noble of you to take one for the team

Also it is vital that chocolate coins are safety tasted.

This has made me smile. I feel very blue and overwhelmed at the moment. Thank you for posting.

Enjoy your good deed for the day!

I may or may not have accidentally caved it's head in while packing it in the bag at the till...

Once I bought some malteasers and opened them to smell them because obs I couldn’t eat them, Well I tripped and as I fell I grabbed onto the side and knocked the malteasers over . Problem was when I fell and lay on the ground my mouth was open in shock and all the malteasers fell in, all of them. It was very traumatic

Likely story! It was clearly premeditated

That's one way to take out the Christmas stress on Santa. Hiding the evidence is essential especially when it can be eaten.

the only trouble is the chocolate on those Santa's tends to be cheap stuff which does not taste that nice. Far better to have a Lindt Reindeer

Deathraystare · 18/12/2024 10:26

Well at least there will be no calories in it - it being broken and all. The calories disappear into the atmosphere. Everyone knows that!!!

This made me lol. I hope you are suitably recovered from your Malteser nightmare?

WhatWouldHopperDo · 18/12/2024 10:45

My only suggestion is to check any wine gifts you have purchased in case they have also been damaged. Yes I know it's only 11.45am - better safe than sorry.

Well my slimming world lady wasn’t too impressed and she didn’t believe my story. I did complain to the Nestle man and all they did was send me another packet and you wouldn’t believe it , it was like des vu and the exact same thing happened to me again the week after. I was livid !
