Shelf life of cosmetics etc

Found eye shadow palettes and miscellar water that I must have ordered during Covid and forgot about. Maybe 2020 or 2021? All unopened.
Can’t find definite info on shelf life of miscellar water. Eyeshadow unopened maybe 3 years?
Probably safest to chuck these?
Seems a waste but maybe safer?
Thanks

Not that i follow them but don’t cosmetics usually have a symbol/ logo stating certain months or years once opened? Usually on the box underneath.

To be honest, maybe i should, but i have never paid attention to how long i have had eyeshadow palettes, pretty sure i have make up from when i was young.
As for the miscellar water, i would probably use that too.
If you are bothered, i would follow what the symbol says.

I almost never wear eyeshadow and have been using the same two little pots for at least 15 years. Probablly 20. Or 25. I've never had a problem.

Hi, thanks, none have the unopened shelf life on the packets…

Perhaps it’s different if they’ve been opened and used, because that may introduce bugs that could cause an infection. If they’ve not been opened, surely that’s different. Who knows how long cosmetics have been on the shelves in store.

@Nighfdreamssleep

Go on checkfresh.com and put in the batch code, and it will tell you the date of manufacture.
