Now divorced and glad of it !
My inlaws were a bit odd. I feel my ex gaslighted me and I had no idea what they were like pre marriage.
An example is on our honeymoon FIL kept contacting my husband saying his uncle was ill and they were getting him in a nursing home and it didn't look good. Cue lots of phone calls etc believing his uncle was at deaths door. He wasn't. He lived another 18 months. Husband had big family who were all at home so could have dealt with this. We were away 1 week.
