What do you wish you hadn't missed?

A very good friend of mine was there when Elton John and George Michael sang in Madison Square Garden "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me". (A long long time ago, but still....)

I could've gone. I didn't.

Is there any occasion or concert or celebration you wish you had said 'yes' to? But didn't...?

Mine is a bit niche and certainly doesn't involve such stellar names but I really regret not going to a poetry reading with Adrian Mitchell in the 90s. He was a brilliant protest poet and did a rare show local to me. I was too shy to ask any friends to go and too shy to go alone. I wish I had.

And the Glastonbury Festival before it became so insanely bloated and commercialised.

Thinking about yours... that is a bit gutting. On the track, the roar of the crowd when Elton appears pretty much takes the roof off!
