Why can i suddenly feel a pulse in my thigh?

It woke me up last night. The only way I can describe it, is like a heartbeat.
It stopped after a couple of minutes.
And has happened twice more during the day.

You have a main artery called the femoral artery in your groin, runs all down your legs, you can feel it in several places.

Are you sure it’s not your leg muscle twitching? I would say that could be described as a heartbeat sensation. Did you have caffeine/sugar not long before bed? Drank enough water?
