Does anyone else feel they live for their holidays?

Mid 20s and in my first big girl job after uni. Work long long hours and get decent pay but as I live in London it doesn't go very far. Spending almost £1000 a month on a room in a shared flat. Working 9am - 8pm a lot of the time and sometimes weekends.

All I really look forward to are my trips to somewhere sunny. I spend most evenings planning my next little trip to the beach to relax. Is anyone else like this?

Yes! It's the only thing getting me through December! And I'm 44!

Okay good, not alone then!

It sounds pretty normal for your 20s.

Yes I absolutely did in my 20s. But head down, keep working and it gets better, I promise!

Perhaps the London grind isn't right for you, or the company you're with doesn't have such a great work/life balance - could you start looking for something else that is a better fit?

I've been there and done it in my twenties too but ended up burnt out and exhausted.

Yep, it’s the whole reason I go to work tbh.
