Sore ear at the front of tragus

I've woken up with a sore ear beside my tragus, now it's not painful all the time, just to touch. I've phoned but cannot get a dr appointment today- they are busy and I can't get through.

What could it be? The pain in on the inside of my ear but when I press the front of my tragus, that's were the source is?

Probably just a deep spot. I wouldn't bother with a GP appointment unless it has been for a long time and causing pain.

If it only hurts when you press it, don't press it ....

I get this reasonably frequently when I wake up in the morning. I think it's just pressure from lying on it, and it disappears after a little while. It is painful though and feels like earache.
