How much to pack for a 3 week holiday?

Curious to know how many of things I should pack for a 3 week trip. It's a beach/cruise in hot location so plenty of swimming.

How many underwear, socks, day time outfits and evening outfits would you pack?

I will have access to laundry but it'll be expensive. Can also rinse things out but that doesn't get things fully clean.

Need to know how much to pay for my 3 year old too.

If it's a cruise you won't be limited with luggage, so I'd be tempted to pack enough underwear for 3 weeks! You can probably re-wear some clothes, especially if you'll be in swimwear a lot. I'd probably pack 3-4 swimwear pieces.

It's a two week cruise with a few nights before and after the cruise. I just don't fancy taking too much as I'll be the one who needs to carry it.

I did a one month trip back in January with a 3 year old - we packed enough for 2 weeks then did laundry once there

Thank you. That seems reasonable. I was thinking of day 10 day time outfits and 10 evening outfits and sometimes they can mix and match to look like different outfits.

Socks and pants can be easily rinsed if we're running low.

Yes I think that will be fine! I just have extremely messy, feral child so can never rewear things 😁

You won't need much. Is there a free laundry facility on the cruise? Many ships have guest launderettes.
3 or 4 x swimwear and matching cover-ups that are suitable for wearing to breakfast and lunch.
5-6 mix and match evening outfits , you'll only wear for a few hours so can be re-worn.
Plus a couple of shorts/tshirts/sundresses for sightseeing etc.

I take the same for one week or longer and use the hotel laundry if needed. Usually wash out underwear socks and swimwear daily ina hot country as they dry overnight in the aircon

Thanks all. The laundry isn't free but I think I'll be able to get quite a bit washed maybe one week into my trip. I'll then have 2 further weeks.

I was thinking the following.

Gym outfits x 2.
Swimwear cover wrap dresses x 2.
Playsuits/dresses (day time) x 3.
Shorts x 3
Tops x 3 (mix and match with shorts).
Evening outfits x 10 (mix and match were possibly but mainly dresses).
Knickers x 10
Bras x 3.
Swimwear (mx and match were possible) x 4
