I just asked when the last posting date is before Christmas.
So exciting is my life 😅

It would have been to play music I think.
I couldn't ask mine a complicated question like yours, she doesn't do well with any hard questions 😂

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 10/12/2024 12:22

Sleep Timer

DilemmaDelilah · 10/12/2024 12:22

To switch a light on. Before that, to ask what the time was. I'm just about to ask what the temperature is... I'm bloomin freezing!

NoToMinglingHappilySingleIThink · 10/12/2024 12:23

To shut up.

Iamblossom · 10/12/2024 12:24

Are dogs allergic to pumpkin seeds

Chickenwing2 · 10/12/2024 12:26

What is on the shopping list?

JingleB · 10/12/2024 12:26

Delete notifications, please.

Because OBVIOUSLY a delivery is out today - it’s December and we have orders arriving all the darned time.

I read an article claiming that use of Please and Thank You in conversation - particularly in younger people - drops when people don’t use them when speaking to gadgets. They get out of the habit.
So I ask politely when I require something from She Who Must Not Be Named.

DontCallMeKidDontCallMeBaby · 10/12/2024 12:27

How many World Cups the men’s Spanish football team have fun. Eldest dc asked me. No idea why they believed I would know the answer 😂

HollyChristmas · 10/12/2024 12:28

When my Amazon delivery is .

Tarkan · 10/12/2024 12:29

I asked her to play sleep sounds last night because our neighbour's dog was barking. I like the aeroplane noise one.

I normally also set a sleep timer with it so it isn't going all night but I must have forgotten last night as I woke up and it was still playing.

Tisfortired · 10/12/2024 12:29

Add olive oil to my shopping list

InSpainTheRain · 10/12/2024 12:30

To turn the christmas tree lights on.

stayathomer · 10/12/2024 12:30

To play ‘it’s just another day’ by wings 😅

Ponderingwindow · 10/12/2024 12:31

To switch the lights off.

Ha - I hate it when DH barks orders at Alexa without saying please. It sounds so rude!!!

TheBestLackAllConviction · 10/12/2024 12:36

Whether there is such a thing as divorce in North Korea. She didn't know.

Londonnight · 10/12/2024 12:38

To turn off my bedroom light.

Alexa and Siri both like it if you are polite. They sometimes say "You're welcome" or "My pleasure"

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 10/12/2024 13:02

I hate it when I ask it the time and it goes

Good Afternoon Eine

No.

Just give me what I asked for

Theoldwoman · 10/12/2024 13:09

To play classical sleep music ( it’s bedtime here)

Bbq1 · 10/12/2024 13:11

We've got the Google hub. She's just turned the TV off for me. It kills me when I ask for her to turn the light on or something in and she says, "Playing.... on Broadcast" and I'm screaming "Google, stop!!"

squashyhat · 10/12/2024 13:12

To play Boom Rock (radio station) to accompany mince pie making.

ellebelli · 10/12/2024 13:19

I asked her how to spell something for a cross word I was doing.

YorkieTheRabbit · 10/12/2024 14:01

I asked her to set a timer, before that I asked her to switch the Christmas tree lights on

LooseGooseMoose · 10/12/2024 14:06

What the temperature was outside.
