Can’t find my Christmas cards

A lot light hearted but immensely annoying.

I’m sure I bought my cards in September. If I could find my little red notebook I’d know for sure.

im sure I wrote a lot of them also. But all I can find is two unopened packs of unwritten cards.

I’ve a do on Tuesday where I need to give out 16. 16 I’m pretty sure I’ve already written.

they are not with the presents nor the general bag of cards. If I write another 16 I’m going to open a drawer of cupboard and they will appear won’t they ?

I thought if I started a post they suddenly turn up 😂

My spare car key reappeared by magic in a rarely used drawer recently. Last used early August on holiday when we split up for beach and shops.

Are said cards in an envelope or paper bag that differs from the one you remember.

You have written the cards out, but then put them in a box type thing or a file/folder which is on a shelf. Do you have bookshelves? Look there!

They absolutely will turn up once you've replaced and written them all out again

Your notebook will be found after Christmas. Probably on top of the written cards tbh.

Write them again. Once you do you will find the cards you have already written. Put these in a safe place for next year. Then repeat! Lol

I found all sorts of other things but still no cards or little book. 😂😂😂😂😂

Just given in and written them. I’m not opening anymore cupboards and drawers today.

Have you looked in the christmas decoration box?

Just found the blue book in a really prominent place. No tick against writing cards so it’s likely I dreamt writing them. I’m assuming the two packs of cards I found were ones I bought intending to write. Hey ho

Yes sure to be in the next drawer you open once you've rewritten them all!
Distressing for me is the 'A' section of my address book has vanished - it's falling apart but as it's one my late husband filled so I'm reluctant to get rid if it. Then my smart aleck DD just home from uni says there's nothing stopping me from filling in a new one and just keeping the old one...
Now of the six cards I've received two are from people who I decided to cut off my list 🤦🏻‍♀️!

I’ve decided it’s all too late and but at the same time I feel a bit mean. Can’t remember when I got soo grumpy about Christmas.

i know what you mean about address books. I’ve one from when I was 16, no blooming good other than from a nostalgic read from time to time. Reminds me of my boyfriends from thirty plus years ago.

I found them, I had written them, but only the cards. I went to take a card out of the box of new cards only to find it was written, I’d just written the cards, no envelopes but that made sense because I was on holiday and didn’t have my address book with me 🤦‍♀️

I’ve bunged a couple in the post and I’ll keep the others for next year.

I cut right back on card’s this year. Relic to 19th century. These days so many ways to send a festive message for free. Plus price of a stamp chest pain inducing.
If you were my friend and said: I got you a card but can’t find it but you’d of really liked it, would make me lol 😂 x
