Could I have broken my new washing machine?

Does anybody know anything about washing machines. Got a new one about 10 days ago. Son installed it, he's pretty handy. Did loads if washes perfectly fine. Then put on a 40 degree cotton wash today. Realised that machine was making horrendous noises. The water in it was boiling and it wouldn't drain.
Obviously will ring the company first thing Monday, but worrying that it could have been installed incorrectly.

Monday is three days away! If you're really concerned there should be customer support /chat from wherever you bought it from .

Did he take the transit bolts out the drum, otherwise it won't turn and shake the house down.

It seems I might have panicked too early. DS came home, took a look and set it to drain. Seems OK now. He thinks there might have been a kink in a pipe.

Glad it's sorted, three days seemed so long! I'm a panicker! I'm straight to Google it , or to customer service to get the fix or the "fixer" booked to come out .

I think I was just in an extra panicking mood with the storm. It's very bad here and DS was working so I was worried about him getting home as well as worrying about the washing machine.

Just so that you know in future, installing a washing machine is only really connecting it up. If your DS is practical, he's unlikely to mess it up.
