family friendly podcast recommendations

Hey mumsnetters!

I like having a podcast or something on in the background whilst I'm working/wrapping/cleaning etc, however I've realised the stuff I like (eg Lady Killers by Lucy Worsley who is living my dream life, being paid to learn about history - winner) is a bit gory for times when my children might meander in. Can anyone recommend something which is a bit more lighthearted? Bonus points if I might learn something or it's history themed.

Thanks in advance!

I like The Rest Is Entertainment and Off Menu - both probably have a bit of swearing etc but nothing too bad.

(I know lots of people love The Rest Is History, am sure you're already onto that one...)

Thank you 😊

I agree with The Rest Is Entertainment. We also used to listen to The Anthropocene Reviewed in the car a lot. I don’t think it’s being made any more, but lots of back episodes.

I really love The Apple Seed podcast! It's professional storytellers telling stories, and they are always family friendly, so anyone can wander in at any time :)
