Labyrinth and Forbidden Island. We started playing then when youngest started school. Youngest is now in Y13, and these two board games still come out every Christmas and are enjoyed by the whole family. We've tried and enjoyed many board games, but these two have been the best.

Taskmaster - if you have a lot of energy and a sideways sense of chaotic humour! We do love this board game, but we have to be in the right mood for it.

rosemole · 05/12/2024 23:41

@Aparecium never heard of them! Off to investigate

Outsmarted is amazing we got it a year or two ago and we all love it and play regularly, 20, 15 and 11 year old kids and my 85 year old father in law enjoys it too.

Someone also told me about Ticket to Ride, anyone know if that's any good?

We have a set of name game cards. We do three rounds, one normal one with descriptions, then in round 2 you can only say one word, then finally it’s mime. We’ve been through them so often that we have odd shortcuts, the reasons for them are lost in the mists of time - so “freckles” is James Cordon.

@CitiesInDust the Neanderthal poetry one looks really fun 🤩 thank you
