Anyone know how much excess milage charges are?

I've currently got a hire car as my own car is in the garage waiting for a part. (It's been there nearly 3 weeks and I'm getting very pissed off!) Due having g pre booked plans, to go away. I think I'm going to exceed the fair used age clause on the hire agreement. (It was arranged by the car dealership) Does anyone know how much it's likely to cost?

It should say on your contract, or you could ring the hire people and find out.

I use a small hire car business - they had a 200 mile a day allowance! You might be ok

I spoke to them. But I'm still not clear! I'll just have to suck it up. I do t see why I should have to curtail my plans because the dealers can't get a part in a timely manner.

VW charged my mum £32 for doing 120 miles. Prepare to potentially get stung!
