Is there any good way of getting a solicitor

I asked in local groups for a recommendations for a solicitor but I got no replies. I went ahead last week and started searching online and I made contact with two solicitors but they both didn't respond to me.

I'm dealing with harassment and I need to apply to the court to get it to stop.

I know from a medical professionals there are some medical professionals that will not touch anything that looks like a group B personality disorder because they know it's going to be nothing but trouble. Are solicitors the same? Do they not work with people or cases that are like group B personality?

It is the harassment that I am getting - looks strongly like a personality disorder. Highly troubled and twisted.

Hi OP. Sorry you're going through this.

I'm thinking presumably lots of people looking for help with this don't really have the funds to pay solicitors what their time is worth. It may be worth calling or something instead? They may blanket reject clients dealing with this issue for that reason.

Also I'm thinking it may be due to protecting themselves too? I'd imagine lots of people who are harassing others may also be the people to, say, learn of the solicitor protecting the claimant and vandalise an office.

I'd call as many as possible and see who deals with these kinds of cases. It won't be all solicitors.

You might need to be a little more specific. Is it a family member or not?

What specifically do you want a solicitor for?

Police would normally be the first port of call here, particularly if there has been or you are worried about violence.

If it is your partner or ex partner then you need a family solicitor as they will help sort out a non-molestation order.
