... would you tell me what it is like? There's not much info online about this! Things like...

What are your hormones like, if you know? Testosterone/oestrogen in normal range for postmenopause or are they different?

Do you take hrt? Does it help?

Do you struggle with your weight more or less than premenopause?

Do you find it harder than your non-PCOS peers to build/maintain muscle?

I have PCOS & am post menopausal.
Or rather I did have PCOS as all my PCOS symptoms went away after menopause.
I lost weight easily & easily maintain a healthy weight for first time in my adult live.
Excess hair went away, clear skin & no mood swings or low mood.
I’m fitter & healthier.
My life was greatly improved by the menopause.
I asked an endrocinologist years ago whether things would get even worse after menopause and her reply was “I think it will suit you very well”
She was right 😊
No idea what my hormone levels are I’m afraid, been no need to test them.

Thank you! This is so helpful. I wonder if that's a common experience or if there's a wide range of possibilities. I hope it's common as it sounds great!

I really wish this was true for me, but sadly I'm the opposite. Still hairy, weight clinging on for dear life.
I was never too bad for mood swings, but bizarrely I've found when I don't eat any pomegranate seeds I feel worse.

Ah, so it seems to be a lottery then 🤔 Damn.
Interesting about pomegranate seeds though, I've never heard of that!
