Couldn't buy alcohol free wine in M&S before 9am?!

What's the world come to when out doing a bit of shopping and you can't buy alcohol free wine before 10am?!

In Scotland, btw.

Absolutely ridiculous.

Well, I wouldn't expect them to sell alcohol-free wine or beer to an under-18 either. It'll be subject to licensing laws, though it probably needn't be.

Individual retailers can choose not to sell non-alcoholic wine or beer before 10:00 a.m. to avoid the possible confusion of selling wine or beer with alcohol in it to minors below the age of 18 or outside of licensed hours.
