As a fun gift for a teen to encourage them to take driving lessons ! I know they are tacky but I think they are fun.

Any reputable sites please?

Thanks for all the replies - I didn't know teens view them as cringe - I'd have loved one as a teenager (worryingly bad taste)

Do you know it's something they really want? I cringe when I see personalised reg plates and I know a lot of people don't like them.

I was surprised to read that you wished to encourage your child to take driving lessons; that's a first in my experience!
However, I too think it would be wise to discuss this choice of gift, not to mention the words on the plate, with your DC.
Presuming though that they would choose the words.
Personalised plates are usually easy to remember for other drivers, which could havae disadvantages, but of course easier to spot your own vehicle in a large lot.
Some plates are very clever, some not so much, and were a great novelty when first introduced.

I hope your DC finds this gift fun, but I would find out first if it were me.
