Is there too much shadow on this passport picture?

As in, I can see a shadow behind/on part of face/neck.
I kind of assume any visible shadow = reject.
Will UK passport office reject?
Is it worth trying & I'll puzzle out a way to get another pic if they do reject?

Have you tried the online application? It’ll tell you before you submit and pay if it passes

Are you applying online? I used the checker tool to see if the photo was OK. I don't know how foolproof it is but ours went through fine. This was with a photo from my phone (I had taken it of DC, harder to do alone). I found DC needed to stand further away from the wall to not get a shadow.

I think it is AI assessed but yes before submission.
