For those who run, can you recommend a really supportive trainer?

I use to run but for the last few years I've been plagued by Plantar Facilitis however I feel like it's finally under control although niggles from time to time.
I'm looking for a really supportive trainer to start running again.i walk in Brooks Ghost which are fine for walking but they don't feel supportive enough to run in.

Many thanks in advance ☺️

Please go to a proper running shop and speak to the people who work there. Ask them to help you to find the right shoe, because they will be able to help you. It's so important to get the right shoe for your gait, your feet and your specific health issues.

That's very true, I need to be very careful not to do more damage again!

Also a former PF sufferer, I wear Brooks Adrenaline, which are more supportive than Ghost, but I second the advice to go to a running shop and get your gait analysed.

100% running shop and ideally a small independent one. They tend to be really passionate about running and they spent 30mins with me looking at my foot arch, gait analysis etc I tried on 12 pairs of shoes I swear to compare comfort levels

Thanks. I have been looking at those. I know that Brooks fit me well too.
