Do I need a Visa to fly to New York?

Flying to New York this week and noticed something about needing a Visa on our tickets? I vaguely remember filling out a Visa actually on the plane when we last visited the USA, but that was years ago?

Is it the same now?

Great news, only took about 4 hours.

As a heads up to anyone travelling to India, it's similar to the USA but the interface is poor, really fiddly, and mine took a week to come back (dh's took 24 hours)!

Oh yes the India one is problematic. Firstly in getting a photo in both a format and size acceptable to the site. And also because it asks you if you’ve been to India before, and when you say yes it asks for dates and visa numbers. Well, my first trip was almost 3 years ago, and I’ve been many times since but I don’t have that info to hand.

So, started again and just ticket ‘no’ to that question 😂 I did wonder if they had any way of checking, but as it was a new passport I guessed not. And my visa came though in less than 24 hours 😊
