If you have an ipad what do you use it for?

I only have an android phone and a kindle. No laptop and no tv.

I am toying with the idea of getting a used iPad. I am not quite sure how I would use it. I find doing everything on the phone quite challenging. I think it would he quite nice to watch films on.

I always had windows laptops until a few years ago when my last one died and I didn't replace it on cost grounds. I have had a while to save up.

I don't have Internet at home so I use mobile data and I would possibly get one with cellular to save me tethering all the time.

I don't think this is a necessity, but I am fed up with the tiny screen. I had an android tablet previously.

Reading and watching films. That's pretty much it.

I used mine for everything but phone calls, too. I’m in front of the TV and writing on it now.

They issued them at my work, I didn’t think I’d use it much, but when I retired I bought my own.

For me the magic is how the various I-things synch up. When I got an iPhone (basically for authentication when shopping etc online) I was amazed how much just automatically transferred. My messages appear on my iPad, too.

I might feel differently if I had a laptop. We just have a desktop, which is in the study. I mostly use that for preparing and attaching documents, everything else is done on the iPad.

Use mine daily for everything already mentioned. I have a keyboard case so essentially I use ir over a laptop. I have a pro version with a larger screen and it's brilliant. I edit documents including PDFs, download movies for travelling and use it for watching Netflix, Prime, Disney etc whilst cooking.
