Buggered up my Mumsnet view on laptop *and* mobile

God help me. I have no idea how I've managed this. Twice.

In 2022, my Mumsnet desktop view shrank to this & despite posting on Site Stuff at the time, it was never resolved.

Today, the same thing has happened on my mobile. I'm utterly feckless.

Any ideas? Solutions in pre-school language please as I'm a bit slow If you hadn't already guessed.

Laptop view

have you looked in your settings ? click on the icon at the top of your page that looks like a little person and has a red number on its head, then go into settings then 'talk settings' and there are various display choices. Hope that helps, its what I do when mine goes haywire.

Thanks Amy. I've been hanging about in there & toggling different options but nothing changes these restricted views I'm seeing.

On mobile looks like you've clicked "desktop view" option in your phone.

Not sure about laptop though.

It's all completely back to normal now & I can stop squinting & trying to enlarge the box of text manually

Still the laptop to sort, but the phone was priority.

The mobile was just a stripe of text in the middle of the screen. I could enlarge it with my fingers but it wasn't central & moved about
