Pub with a kids play area central London

We're hoping to head to London on Sunday to see some friends - is there such a thing as a pub with a kids play area in central anywhere? We've got a toddler and although we'd love to see our friends for a few drinks it doesn't seem fair (to anyone!) to expect the toddler to sit quietly for a few hours, even if we bribe them with an ipad and snacks.

I'm pregnant so won't be drinking and DH isn't a big drinker so we're not looking to go on a bender or anything - just a few pints for DH and a diet coke or two for me although I expect some of the others might go a bit harder!

I can't think of any, sorry!

When they say child-friendly in the centre of town, they tend to mean they have high-chairs, children's menu and a few board games or things to colour in.

Which side of town are you likely to be? There may be more possibilities a bit further out

Thanks, apparently Brewdog in Waterloo has a slide and some table tennis etc, it's not exactly toddler friendly but should buy us some time! Thanks - we need to be central as we're all meeting from across the south east. Perhaps I need to start a soft play/pub venture!

I think the difficulty is that you need much larger premises if you're going to have a play area - places in the centre of town simply won't have beer gardens that are big enough for smaller DC to play, and any outdoors areas tend to have lots of tables (for smokers).

Soft plays tend not to be licenced (child supervision issues)

If you have a nice day, you could try a licenced cafe in a park?

It's not central, but just in case it helps the Plough Inn W5 has a good sized outdoor play space.
