I'm going for a few days early January to hit the sales. I like big end high street I suppose but really am looking for places I can't get in Scotland (Edinburgh). I don't like fancy clothes, just well made clothes in natural fabrics. Do I go Oxford St/Regent St or Seven Dials/Covent gardens? Somewhere else? Don't want to go to a shopping centre. Thanks.

You can go to both as it’s about a 10 minute walk between the bottoms of Regent St and Covent Garden

But Marylebone High St is nice too so maybe start there (from the Baker St end) and walk down the High St. through St Christopher’s Place to get to Oxford St (you come out at Selfridges), walk down Oxford St to you get to Regent St, down there through Leicester Sq to get to Covent Garden.

That sounds like a good plan. Thanks.
