What colour would be a nice contrast to burgundy?

Sky blue (if you're a West Ham fan), Cream, Teal, Gold

Cream and/or navy

I like it with a soft orange or lime green but that is perhaps more colourful than you are looking for.

Is it for interior decoration or an outfit?

Cream came first into my mind as a contrast. But I also like the suggestions of gold and navy.

Maybe light blue too.

Charcoal grey for an outfit.

Pistachio! Or mint, if you prefer.

Turquoise for a more shocking contrast, cream or gold for more subtle

Turquoise or fushia pink. For a more muted look a light-mid grey.

Not cream. Too much like blood and bandages (red and white).
