Something I never understood about my son's school.
My son (4 years old) has started reception in September.
Before he started, the school send important documents, which also contained the school policies and rules.
One of them stated that long hair must never be left open to prevent lice. That makes sense to me and all girls at my son's school always have their hair in pigtails, ponytails ect.
However, I noticed a couple of boys in my son's class with longish hair. One of them has curly, shoulder length hair.

They always have their hair open.
Is there something I'm missing?
