Looks lovely. Cheap, historic with beaches. But reading on the internet i get really conflicting reports - either it is a shithole or great?

If you have been there, which places would you recommend to go to or avlidit?

Hello
We went in the summer to Aqua Nevis Hotel. Flew to Burgas and went with Jet2. It was a nice, modern hotel and had a great waterpark right next to it with some brilliant slides for all ages. Staff friendly and food lovely.
15 min walk to beach or there's a free shuttle bus regularly going to and fro. The actual main street (Flower Street) in Sunny Beach is lively and bustling but the hotel isn't close enough to it where you'd be disturbed by it. Nessebar the old town is beautiful and well worth a visit. A short bus trip away from Sunny Beach or you can also get a boat there. We enjoyed it!
The water park is called Action Waterpark if you want to look it up

100% Yes!
DH and I went and few years ago - when the doc re: Sunny Beach was on TV
We were in our 49s and stayed on the outskirts of Sunny Beach so could avoid the craziness of it if we wanted!

We thought it was a great place to- food people weather !
