In the snow in Salford.

We don’t know age, sex or cause of death as of yet. It’s being called Baby A

I just really hope it wasn’t left to die in the snow

What a terrible end to an innocent life

That poor soul. Unpopular opinion but I hope it's mother is being looked after also.

BeMintBee · 21/11/2024 11:20

Fairly certain you could have worded your title and post with a bit more sensitivity.

Poor soul. Was baby A a newborn ? Usually the case isn't it.

Poor baby and while I appreciate that the mother may have committed a crime and acted in an awful way I do hope that she also gets the help she needs as well as any punishment due.
I won't be watching anything about it though as I can't stand all the people taking flowers and teddies crying and trying to get their faces on the telly (cynical I know). Its tragic but I hate it when these things happen and people turn up crying with balloons.

I agree. They didn’t know the infant. The probably don’t know the mother. It’s just all grief vulture

People taking flowers and teddies are no different to anyone discussing it on MN

None of us know what horrors the mother might be being subjected to

Me too then scream and shout when it's removed. It does nothing to help the life lost and after a while looks awful and encourages vermin.
