Is Lapland just as magical with DC after Christmas? (Like January) or are activities and the atmosphere not as magical?

It’s like asking whether the Blackpool illuminations are as good during the day.

If you want snow, twinkly lights, cold, reindeer, etc, then yes it's magical. But if you want it specifically Christmassy then you need to go before Christmas. It is a winter wonderland for months, so if you just want a really wintry experience then any time in winter is good.

I thought maybe because you’re in Lapland then it may be just as magical. But obviously not.

Cheez-what’s the differences there?

Well, you can't expect Santa or elves to be present AFTER Christmas unless you're doing some specific package that promises they will be - but we saw none of that in Feb.

Are they gone by then?
