Stray Kids London Gig with 12 yr old

Hello,

I’m hoping to take my 12 (will be very nearly 13) year old to see her favourite K Pop band Stray Kids at Tottenham Stadium in June next year, and I’m looking for a bit of advice from those of you who have done similar before!

Is it best to stay in central London? Looking at Booking.com for hotels near the stadium has provided scant reward.

Is it easy to get back into central London at what will likely be 11pm at night?

She’s had a really tough year and has her heart set on it so despite being a bit apprehensive I’m committed!

The stadium is a bit of a walk from Seven Sisters which gives easy access to central
london.

I think there’s a premier inn at Tottenham Hale you could walk to? Finsbury Park has Premier Inn/Travelodge options which would be one stop.

Yes it’s crowded but I take a 6 yo to the football there and we cope fine so I think a 12 year old would be ok?

Thanks Twillight - I’ve just checked the Premier Inn and it’s fully booked! Such a shame, would have been perfect.

Good to know it’s easy access to central London.

Just got tickets! Staying in central London and making a weekend of it. Daughter will be thrilled on Christmas morning!

I was delighted when the second date appeared as I was not going to get to the front of the queue before they sold out.
Very stressful! But not as bad as how we used to do it in the 90s, repeatedly pressing redial on the phone!

UrsulaBirken · 27/11/2024 18:26

Yes we got tickets! Don’t know where we’re staying still.

And yes - a stressful ten minutes or so at 12 today!

Ten minutes?! I was two hours!

I’ve got Saturday tickets

Quacking4it · 27/11/2024 19:10

I've got Saturday tickets too. We'll make a short break of it and probably go by train to Liverpool Street and stay somewhere round there. Its hard to plan so far in advance!

Me and my two daughters have tickets too. Right in the gods on Friday as that's all was left (and affordable) but we couldnt do Saturday night as I had already booked premier inn for friday night at the hope of getting tickets. Travelling from deepest rural Wales so booked a few nights prior so we can make the most of our trip and do some sightseeing before hand!

Just remembered this thread. So, what does the average middle aged mother wear to a Stray Kids concert, do we think? Asking, you know, for a friend…

parrotonmyshoulder · 31/05/2025 18:37

Getting closer. Any thoughts?

parrotonmyshoulder · 21/06/2025 09:57

Less than a month away. How’s everyone feeling?
