Im not sure what to do about this pain now!

I have had low stomach discomfort for months. I had an ultrasound which shower possibly a kidney stone and something with my bladder i dont really understand what tbh So my gp reffered me to the urologist i had an appointment with him he said i needed a ct and a bladder camera.

i had the ct scan last week and im waiting for an appointment for the bladder thing it could be a little wait i guess.

The thing is i feel horrible like my lower stomach is tender and feels full i have lower back pain and i keep feeling queasy i just feel like i have some sort of urine infection but i am waiting for these appointments all the time. I dont know what to do now because i dont feel like i can annoy the gp or walk in again because im already waiting for appointments but i feel so uncomfortable and unwell . Has anyone had this because i feel like im going mad here. Just sitting in a ball on the couch in a blanket feeling very sorry for myself!

I think you should ask for more help. You deserve to be treated for pain, and either your gp or outpatients are the place to go. It is their job to help you, and the priority is speeding up as you are reaching the end of your tether.

Pharmacists can treat urinary infections.

Check for a Uti which the Dr can check or pharmacy. Take paracetamol for pain, not nurofen.

Thanks i have bern tested for utis the sample comes back with blood but no infection - thats why the gp reffered me to urology. So i dont think its an infection even though the soreness feels similar.

Overactive bladder?

Pelvic floor issues?

Lack of topical oestrogen?

I know this is a couple of months old but was just wondering how you got on with the CT and bladder camera? I have exactly the same symptoms, been for the camera and now waiting for the CT scan.

Did you get any answers and are you feeling any better?
