£200 for long stay parking over Xmas. More than the bloody flights! 🤦‍♀️

Has anyone got any tips on doing it cheaper?? Thanks.

Terminal 5.

They usually send out offers on black Friday.
If you aren't signed up to the newsletter, do that. They send offers out about a month before your trip.
Holiday Extras have 15% (I think) discount on airport parking at the moment
Look at the valet parking option. We used it at Birmingham last month and it was cheaper than the long stay parking.

Anyone you know within a 20 or so mile area where you could park/they could keep an eye on your car and you could Uber/bus/train in?

We tend to park near my dads (on street parking!) and get the bus which is literally £2. Ubers would've worked out £20 each way but the bus is just as convenient.

Otherwise generally you can find off street parking on Just Park or similar, and again Uber to and fro.

Also, in case you aren't aware, Heathrow is now in the ULEZ.

Where are you coming from and how long do you need to park for? You may be better off parking at a train station and getting public transport to T5.

Thankyou all.

I didn't know about the ULEZ so thanks.

I think k I'm going to take the bus...

You might not have to pay. I've got an ordinary petrol car and we didn't have to pay. Not a banger, admittedly. YOu can check here
