Kia Sportage or Nissan Quashqai?

Which one is better ? Looking at 2 locally as need to change my car. Both same age, slightly less mileage on the Nissan ( 70,000 instead of 81,000) Heard great things about sportage but don't know much about Quashqai other than it seems every other house has one so assuming they are good too?

I've jad a kia sportgage. Loved it. Now have a Hyundai tuscon and like that too. Parents hace the Nissan and its awful in comparison. Cheaply made and not as big

We’ve had two quashqais previously, both ended up with the same fault, we thought we were just unlucky the first time.
We now have a Sportage and it’s so much better than the Nissan, feels sturdier and more gadgets.
I’d have a Sportage again but would never have another Quashqai

Sportage is a great car. So reliable and drives very nicely- feels very light.

All depends on the engine, OP. If its a petrol 1.2 Qashqai, run a mile. If it's the 1.5 Diesel thats a safer bet.

Sportage! Bear in mind the 7year warranty Kia offer if that’s relevant with the age!

I love my quashqai dearly but the suspension is rubbish which is apparently a pretty common fault. The 360° cameras make parking a dream though so I'm not changing it!

Anything but a qashqai! Cost me a fortune in repairs and couldn't wait to change it

Used to have a Kia Sportage - loved that car! Still got a Kia but moved over to the Nero as wanted a hybrid car.

Love my Sportage (tho not the pathetic 1.6 petrol engine). Had her 5 years and not needed anything apart from usual tyres and brakes (and an air-con issue).

Friend has had a Qashqai for a couple of years and it's been nothing but problems unfortunately.
