Skipton - where’s nice to eat and walk

Going for a day out tomorrow. Would like a nice pub, restaurant or cafe and a walk that’s a bit town and a bit of the surroundings.
Any recommendations gratefully received.

If you want to stay in Skipton itself, then The Castle Inn and the Castle Woods nature reserve would be my choice. For that, park at Bailey Car Park. If you wanted to extend your walk, you could walk through the town to Aireville Park.
