... did you get an email about the opening of Christmas delivery slots? I got an email last year, but not this year, so I missed the release and the delivery slots are all now booked up in my area.

No, I didn’t get an email either and now no slots. I don’t think you get early release slots anymore though with off peak.

I didn’t. My mil told me slots were released and I managed to get a slot for the 21st I think it was. But I wouldn’t have known otherwise

Off peak delivery saver doesn't include early access to christmas or Easter slots anymore. If you have the full delivery saver, but you save less than the amount it costs, they refund you the difference, so if early slots are important to you, it might be worth upgrading next year. This is what we do.

I realise it no longer includes early access, but that change was made in Summer 2023 and I still got an email at Christmas 2023 to tell me about the release timetable so that when they went on general release I was able to book. This time they didn't send the email.

Do you use Gmail or similar where it filters promotional emails out of your main inbox? I nearly got caught out this year and happened notice it had been filtered to my Promotions folder - only clocked it the night before slots were released!

Yes, I got a couple of reminders. One of them might have been a notification from the app the night before. I was logged on before 6am on the day and also only got 21st.
