I am waiting to hear whether I have been successful in securing a temporary role. I will need an induction obviously but am starting to get anxious about supervising self scan machines or working on the manned checkouts. I worked on the tills at M&S food 40 years ago when it was just cash or cheques so much has changed! Is it easy to pick up how to work the tills? Can anyone share what its like, working the busiest weeks of the year at Sainsburys?
