Debenhams on line is is bona fide?

Just wondering, because I brought something today but got sent two different codes.
Just wondering if anyone has brought anything from then

I bought a coat last year then got an email two days later saying the order was cancelled. They took my money and order as normal at the time. They said it was out of stock and I was ripping as I’d spent ages choosing it.
so, in short, I’m not using them again as it’s too much faff and too unpredictable.

I bought two tops from them and all went fine. That was about 18 months ago though.

I've used them a few times , always been ok .

Their website seems odd these days. I ordered recently and everything arrived fine but I got no email acknowledgement of the order which I found strange and it made me quite nervous until the stuff came.

I used them about 2 or 3 weeks ago and it was all fine - my order did get split into separate deliveries though.

I have used them a couple of times. First one last year

coincidentally made an order last week and everything has turned up except one thing due tomorrow morning but all 5 things I ordered have come in separate packages on different days using gp different delivery companies.

oh and I ended up busy before I could finish the order and one of the things I put in the basket had gone up by 5 pounds in the 24 hours it took me to come back and finish the order. It was still a ok price but I was annoyed about it.

I think they are owned now by that fucker who owns sports direct though so I try not to use them unless I can’t literally find the products elsewhere.

I ordered a blue suit jacket and trousers. They came and were slightly different colours, despite being the same 'brand' and listed as the same colour. It took me ages and repeated emails to Debenhams to get them to understand what the issue was. They finally sent me another set of trousers which were a third slightly different colour. I did eventually get a refund including a refund of the delivery charge, but it took ages.

I won't use them again.

I used to love the Debenhams store on Oxford Street back in the day but the stuff online now is just totally shite and the customer service is appalling

I only ordered online once after the stores closed. Never again: clothing turned up with holes at the seams, obviously worn. Took a lot of effort to get the return authorised and I didn't get the postage refunded (it should have been as it was faulty/worn).

Very sad to see the company trading on the historical name but basically being nothing more than a fast-fashion, 3rd part seller with zero interest in its service.

I bought a bag for a wedding about 6 weeks ago,everything was fine.

I put an order in 2 days ago had an e mail saying it's coming in different parcels , hope all is ok , fingers crossed

I am pretty sure it's all different traders and you are buying via Debenhams. Which is why there's different postage prices and times and if there's problems Debenhams won't help you. A bit like parts of ebay and Amazon.

Debenhams went bust a few years ago and is now just a brand name owned by Boohoo. The website is just a place to buy from 3rd party sellers, lots of crappy end of line stuff. I’d steer clear.

However I would expect aftershave to be genuine.
