Christmas gift for teacher and TA

Hello, just wondered what people tend to do for Christmas gifts ( If at all) for their children’s teacher and teaching assistant? I thought about getting a £20.00 voucher for each? What’s the ‘done’ thing usually? Thanks :-)

In over a decade of teaching honestly it's not a done thing at all.

It really depends 💁Sometimes some parents choose to do so individually, sometimes they decide on a joint gift and sometimes there are no gifts at all, it's just equally fine. I'd say getting christmas gifts for the teachers and TAs is not a tradition whatsoever but it could be a nice gesture, so just do as you feel like doing.
Vouchers sounds amazing and so would be edibles like posh chocolate or tea/coffee sets. That's what we're doing this year.
You can also go with personalized items like custom planners or notebook and pen sets.
