Does anyone know how to get a quote before my son has passed his test? He is taking it next week so I'd like to get quotes in preparation, but I have to out the date he passed his test in, and can't put a future date.....

Any advice on how to get around a massive hike by getting it on the same day?

No way round it, they know. We did quotes using past dates but they all jumped when he actually passed his test. It was cheaper to get a quote and wait 2-4 weeks after his test for the policy to start.

Annoying as some companies quoting wouldn’t quote as soon as he passed his test as well.

Finding it all so difficult!!!
