Never too late for your MH to improve 😁

I post this in the hope it helps someone.
For many years my MH has been up and down.
One thing I've struggled with is anxiety.
Travelling too far from home, sometimes just going shopping alone.
Dreading the school run.
I've been agoraphobic twice.
I had to stop driving early 50s.
Despite all the counselling and therapy my world shrunk.
Work was my world. This weekend I travelled by train to see my son.
Something I thought I could do and have done for many decades.
I loved it.If you are struggling now it is not permanent.
I hope this gives someone hope.

That’s absolutely brilliant @whatisforteamum , so pleased for you 💐

Would you consider putting your story in Mental Health and telling people how you got to where you are now?

whatisforteamum · 11/11/2024 08:42

Yes I should do.
I'm not sure how I got there apart from taking magnesium.
I did give up alcohol and exercise though.

That's really great to hear! 😁

Anxiety looms large in our family and it's good to hear the success stories.

Sorry to hear that Rhinestonecowgirl.
Life begins at 58 for me.
