Do you reward yourself for personal achievements?

I have a few fitness and weight loss goals that I would like to achieve and sometimes feel like I undermine myself here and there because it’s no big deal if I skip a session / have a biscuit. So, I have decided that I will buy the belt that was on my wanties list for sometime now the day I hit my first goal. I can afford it but it’s a frivolous purchase but I feel that will give me focus to keep on track. Does anyone else use a reward system and does it work for you? What have you treated yourself to as incentives?

Sleep. I'm old.

Things like nice pens, books or notepads.

Yes! I have a Prize Cupboard. It’s not actually a cupboard, it’s a list in Notes on my phone of little treats I would like to buy myself. Whenever I make it to the gym 3 times in a week, I choose something from the prize cupboard and go and buy it.

Things like a new gym t-shirt, lipstick, book, etc.

And just a tip from me… reward effort rather than results.
