Got Netflix and prime video

I enjoyed stuff like 'sleeping with the enemy', 'you should have left'.

The burning girls or Hannibal, both on Netflix

wwyd2021medicine · 09/11/2024 19:32

Not too gritty. Rather shallowly, I like to see nice houses and scenery 🤦‍♀️

‘Wilderness’ on Prime. Easy watch, a bit creepy but not too bad, and all the locations - and actors - are very pretty!

The Woman in White

Jfdomega · 09/11/2024 19:37

The fall it excellent. But it’s a series though.

rosegoldwatcher · 09/11/2024 19:39

I can recommend The Devil's Hour - on Prime. Again, a series though.

I loved the fall. Also liked Broadchurch and Shetland. Would be grateful for recommendations but fancy a film tonight.

Okay, I was going to ask… are you into thrillers with nice architectural homes like me? LOL

BASIC INSTINCT
THE HAND THAT ROCKS THE CRADLE
WHEN A STRANGER CALLS
THE GLASS HOUSE
CELLULAR
HOSTAGE (with Bruce Willis)

all entertaining and filmed in gorgeous, modern homes.

Jfdomega · 09/11/2024 19:46

Fracture is another good one. Anthony Hopkins. Film.

Edited

This feels like a genre I’d enjoy!

The Good Nurse (Eddie Redmain/Jessica Chastain)
The Snowman (Michael Fassbender/Rebecca Ferguson)
I Came By (Hugh Bonneville)
Nocturnal Animals (Jake Gyllenhaal/ Amy Adams) - bit baffling.
1922 - really good! From a Stephen king short story.

Jfdomega · 09/11/2024 19:52

I do, but not particularly. Thanks for those suggestions.

pavementgerms · 09/11/2024 19:54
