How to pack jewellery when travelling

I put it all in a little tin that used to hold mints, but all the chains get tangled up together, everytime. I travel light so need a very simple solution, does anyone have one?

Wrap them around a piece of card- make a little rip in card to hold them in place

I use a jewellery roll. I also fasten the clasps and put each chain in a separate tiny ziplock/resealable bag - you can get them online or from craft shops like Hobbycraft.

Wrap each one in a separate piece of tissue paper.

I’ve got a travel case for jewellery. One of my friends bought me one a few years ago, it’s brilliant! It’s small and you can put rings / earring/necklaces inside without getting tangled. I take it with me every time I go away.

For years I used a bead craft box and it worked perfectly as you can move the divisions around to make them the perfect size for each bit. I also put hair bands/ clips/ pins in the same box. But a smaller format is a travel pill box - still keeps everything separate so no tangling. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07BSHMSSY?ref=nb_sb_ss_w_as-reorder_k5_1_9&amp=&crid=355O52NYUE6NC&sprefix=travel%2Bpi&th=1

I use something similar but bigger and put felt in the individual boxes to stop things moving about

unclasp chains, thread one end through a drinking straw, reclasp so that half (sort of) of the chain is in the straw and the other half outside.
