My husband turns 40 next year and I want to organise something a bit special for the half term week in October next year.
We will have two kids (6 and 9 months) so need something family friendly but also really want a bit of luxury.
Don't really want chance the weather in the likes of Greece (we liked Ikos for example but heard it was pretty crappy if it was rainy) or go further afield with a longer flight to guarantee sun so my current thinking is one of the Norwegian cruises or a nice family friendly hotel in the mountains in Switzerland.
Has anyone done anything like this in October with kids of a similar age?
Any recommendations of cruises or hotels or self catering lodges etc?
Budget is flexible, maybe around 5k?
