Fireworks creeping in for Christmas celebrations....

Not sure if it's happening where you are but fireworks seem to be creeping in for Christmas celebrations. E.g town/village light switch on now combined with fireworks too as if it's not enough!

Next people will be bloody lighting them for Midnight mass or on Christmas Day. Not that I'm religious but it's a peaceful day to me.

Just really fed up of fireworks now as they have been going on since before Halloween and people round here have said they are setting more off at the weekend (probably those loud air bomb type that shake you to the core).

I honestly think they should be banned. My dog is a nervous wreck every night now, and they were still going off last night near us.

I'm so sick of them here and all from one family. They're letting them off again now!
It's been continuous since Saturday last with a one day break.
Fireworks should be confined by law, to the Saturday closest to the 5th of November.

When I lived in horse country, someone would always call to see whether we were having fireworks on the 5th. Now it's any excuse to let the damn things off. Birthdays, weddings, cultural holidays and now Christmas?
What the Hell has fireworks to do with Christmas?

Yep, at ours again tonight, every single night since Halloween.. It’s so selfish.
